Moving on from its predecessor, the Essex Pass, this new promotional pass covers the whole of East Anglia – Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambs, Herts and Beds – and with it a huge array of the best family attractions the region has to offer. These include top names like Pleasurewood Hills, Banham Zoo, Ely Cathedral, Africa Alive!, Bressingham Steam Museum, Barleylands as well as some fantastic smaller gems that are every bit as worth the visit.
And it’s not only attractions where you’ll reap the benefit. There are also beautiful outdoor spaces, activity centres, parks and gardens and historic houses plus some amazing cinema, party package and restaurant deals to boot.
We hope it will inspire you to explore a little further afield and get under the skin of this beautiful and hugely varied region.
What’s more, as well as being BIGGER, we’ve also made some exciting improvements to the new pass making it even BETTER value, both for people living in East Anglia and for visitors to the region:
1. Our regional partners
We’re proud to be working with the major tourism organisations across the region including Visit Essex, Visit Suffolk, Visit Norfolk, the Norfolk & Suffolk Tourist Attractions group, Visit Cambridge & Beyond and Visit Herts. They are each a fantastic resource on their area so if you’re after ideas or inspiration on where to go or what’s going on just click on their icon on our home page.
2. The route planner
You may have noticed a brand new section on our website. Click on ‘explore’ and take a look at our route planner. This clever bit of tech allows you to plan your route taking in whatever ticks your boxes whether it’s outdoor spaces, places to eat, indoor play, attractions or cinemas. Just tick our boxes above the map to make the most of your journey.
3. Party, party
Have you noticed we now also have a dedicated party section? Our Essex Pass party deals have been a hot favourite ever since we launched them last year. But have you seen how many new deals we’ve secured across East Anglia? What’s more you can now search by a variety of filters from type of party to venue, age and cost. It all goes towards making planning that special celebration that little bit lighter on the pocket (which means more money for cake and pressies!)
4. Connecting with nature
We’re passionate about getting people (and especially kids) outdoors and reconnecting with nature. So in a region famed for its birdlife we’re extra pleased to offer new deals at the region’s top RSPB reserves. There are also some great outdoor adventures waiting at Go Ape, Broadland Cycle Hire and Alton Water to name a few. Watch this space for more great nature deals coming on board soon.
